New Fatoora Platform Integration Deadline May Now Apply to YouPlus RETT, VAT, Zakat Certificate & Customs Refunds
If your taxable revenue crossed SAR 187,500 in 2022–2025, you must integrate with the Fatoora platform (منصة فاتورة) from Feb 1, 2027. We also handle Real Estate Transaction Tax (RETT) refunds and exemptions, VAT registration and returns, your annual Zakat Certificate (شهادة الزكاة), and customs duty refunds.

Why this matters
A business owner or finance lead who just found out (or suspects) their company is newly in scope and doesn't know where to start.
- Am I actually required to comply, and by when
- Will this break my current accounting system
- I need someone to just handle it, fast
Our Methodology
- 1.Exposure check — are you actually in scope, and by when
- 2.System compatibility review across your existing ERP/invoicing software
- 3.XML/UBL integration and Fatoora clearance testing
- 4.Go-live support and ongoing compliance monitoring — plus RETT, VAT, and Zakat Certificate filings as they come due

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if this Fatoora integration deadline actually applies to me?
If your taxable revenue exceeded SAR 187,500 in 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025, you're in scope — we confirm this in one call.
What happens if I'm not ready when mandatory integration begins?
ZATCA hasn't yet published a closing date for this window, but delaying exposes you to penalties and invoicing restrictions once enforcement starts.
Do I need to change my accounting software?
Not necessarily — we integrate with SAP, Wafeq, Daftra, Qoyod, FOCUS, and TopNotepad.
Do you handle RETT refunds and exemptions, not just e-invoicing?
Yes — RETT registration, refund claims, exemption applications, and rate calculation are a core part of this service, separate from Fatoora.
What is the Zakat Certificate and do I actually need one?
It's an annual statutory certificate required for CR renewal, bank facilities, and most government tenders — we prepare it as part of your ongoing Zakat filing, not as a last-minute scramble.
Can you help with VAT registration in Saudi Arabia?
Yes — VAT registration, VAT return filing, and penalty resolution are all handled directly, alongside your Zakat and e-invoicing work.
We've been notified of a customs audit — can you help us prepare?
Yes — post-clearance customs audit support is a named service: we help analyze and organize what's requested, review it before submission, and follow through the review with responses and clarifications.
Can you check whether our tax position is exposed before ZATCA finds a problem?
Yes — a Preventive Tax System Examination reviews your current position, runs a random hypothetical audit of past periods, and evaluates how transactions are recorded and classified, so issues surface on your terms, not ZATCA's.
We're unsure how a specific transaction will be taxed — can you get an official answer?
Yes — we can prepare and submit a formal Request for an Interpretive Tax Ruling to ZATCA, including the technical opinion and required forms, and follow it through to a written response.
